and coach won. Its that simple.

With that said, I thought LSU played tough.

Can you beat Ole Mess? That's all that should matter now.

I'd say that's not far off-base. I think Bama spent too much time in the first half trying to convince themselves they could pass against a good defense. And they did reasonably well (especially taking the Maze vs Eugene/Hawkins matchup), but they obviously should have run the ball more frequently.

Granted, I still do think it's a very different game with Dickson at TE, Scott at TB in the 4th, Jefferson at QB in the 4th, and Peterson on Jones all day.

Overall it was a great game, and it's a shame for both teams, that such an obvious poor call was made to tarnish the end of the game just a bit... but Bama played a whale of a game.

...and La. Tech.

...and Arkansas.

The LSU/UA game was hard-fought; not only did it take a physical toll, but a mental one as well, I'm sure. Hopefully we don't have a letdown next week.

As far as Ole Miss is concerned, I don't see how Mile & Co. should have any problem at least getting the team psyched up for this game. Ole Miss embarrassed LSU last year.

LSU has lost 2 straight to Arkansas, so again, I think there's plenty of motivation there for the team.

That is a very good point and I agree... think we ran the ball less than 5 time in the firs 1/4 and maybe 10-15 times in the entire 1st 1/2. Need to look up the stats on that but it is a very good point on how Bama tried to force to pass too much. thought we did a decent job.

No worries. I think he is correct. It's unfortunate the refs were in your corner the entire game b/c I think Bama would have won anyway. Now the conspiracy has begun and it's gone national despite your unabated blathering about LSU fans whining and such. Guess what...it probably won't stop anytime soon. So congrats on your win.
