They're irrelevant at this point, so I don't think about them.

Better call Shreveport for reservations just in case you are bowl eligible.

Win against South Carolina at home would help them get back on track for a decent bowl game as opposed to the Indy bowl and I expect an Arkansas win because South Carolina has fallen flat on their face at the end of every season under Spurrier.
That being said I'm not so sure Petrino is much of an upgrade from Nutt. He simply has not been winning in SEC play. 2-6 last year and 1-4 this year. Recruiting this year has been slow to say the least as well. Only 1 4-star recruit out of 15 total recruits.
Next year will be Petrino's do or die year. If he can't win next year I don't see him ever being any better than Nutt was at Arkansas.

I don't like the program or headcoach. I think it's as irrelevant as Vanderbilt.

Florida has one of the best defenses in America. Also, most of those turnover were within our own 30.
Lets see Florida score 28 points on Bamas defense sarting from their own 30...

Next year is make it or break it for the Hogs. The official site doesn't show the future schedule, so it is hard determine how scheduling plays out.
If Mallet and his receivers improve (and I think they will), and Arkansas's defense improves (and I think they will), there season could go 9-3.
Slowly, Arkansas is starting to feel like a team that will begin to give trouble to everyone in the league. Alabama's whipping of the hogs does not reflect the team's improvement since that happen.
That's the positive outlook.
The negative: SEC teams continue to become more comfortable defensing Petrino's offensive schemes, and, well, it ain't gonna be pretty next year watching Mallet always laying on his back throwing up interceptions.

? Mallett has only been sacked around 16 times, a vast improvement from last years totals.
Also, Mallett has only 3 interceptions, tied for the fewest of and SEC starter (McElroy), except Mallett has around twice the passing touchdowns compared to him...
Arkansas offense is not the problem at all.
Its the defense. Hopefully we get a new DC that has a pulse. Doesnt have to be a Bama defense, just a capable one.
Our schedule is set up nicely next year as well. Prolly 8-9 wins if Defense is there

Who do you think will beat us?
Defense didn't lose the Florida game and held up well against bama until the third quarter. Our offense should continue to improve, our defense should get better as the players mature, our special teams should continue to improve, and our schedule eases up quite a bit.
I see 10 wins next year.

Petrino's 2 deep consists of, I believe, 44 freshmen or sophomores. Let's see anyone else go out and compete in the SEC with no upperclassmen talent.
Arkansas doesn't use official visits during the season unless a recruit is dying to see a game. They save them for after the season so the coaches can have more 1-on-1 time. Recruiting will definitely pick up. And if it doesn't, Petrino's proven he's either a great evaluator/developer of talent.

Good qb but other than that there is not much stability.. Well if Mallet stays next season might be different... But if he doesnt its gonna be awhile before Arky can compete
