He may not be right but at least he's not a pussy like most of the coaches in the SEC. Coachspeak is so boring.

He has been entertaining, but he needs to mature as the head of a marquee SEC program.
I do think he is a good coach and is motivating his players, but the true measure will be when they are winning a bit and his "us against the world" war cry is gone. Hell, spouting off almost creates it........wait! fricking genius!

No, Spurrier pointed out that using tape to mark a spot for the kicker was against the rules. He didn't whine about it. And he certainly didn't say he was afraid to pass the ball because the refs would call a penalty.

I have seen no evidence that this is true. UT's defense is rock solid this year, but they were good last year...AND kiffin's papy is in charge of the defense. Monte will not be there forever. Dont believe kiffin deserves any credit there.
UT's offense is just as pathetic this year as last, no improvement = no credit.
Gameday coaching? Yeah, the last minute of the ut/bama game gave us all a really good idea of his ability there. He seems to have a thing for long field goals (76 yarder, lol).
He does seem to excel at recruiting so far, but given his cavalier attitude towards "rules" I expect probation is in the near future for the vols.

I think those jorts are cutting the circulation off to your head. We will not be on probation period and you can mark that down. Since Kiffin has arrived zero arrests, grades have went up, our team is playing hard to the final second. These were things that we did not do under Fulmer. Oh and he will have a top five class when its all said and done this year.
