Ever. Name another one that was SEC DPOY as a Sophomore and (will almost certainly) break a long-held NCAA record. Also name one to be both Kiper and McShay's #1 overall prospect in america.

I think Hoage may be the answer if there is one. EB will finish with better stats than Hoage but he may not win a second DPOY if all people do is look at the decreased INT's without actually wathing the games.

Hes pretty much the best. plays the most sound football as any safety ive ever seen.

They were obviously not a SS, but I want to say Lee Roy Jordan in the early 60s, or maybe Barry Krauss in the late 70s.
