UT
Offense rankings
UT #48
Troy #50
Uk #89
LSU #109
This could be the week that catches up with Florida.

And for the record I also think Alabama could very well lose this week. I would say there is a 33% chance Alabama or Florida loses this week.

Although I like your optimism, we also have one of the worst D's they have seen all year (albeit we have played like the #3 toughest schedule so far this year)

We will see this week. I am not downplaying their D I am just interested to see what happens when they play a team with a good offense. Who has played Texas A&M and Auburn show their D has experience against good misdirection offenses.

I do not think for one minute that UF will lose but Ark has shown some degree of ability to stop the run which is UF's main method on O this year. Tim may or may not need to throw more this game depending on if Ark can move the ball.

I think the next 2 weeks for UF could be the game we lose...arky or @ MSU. It should be a great game.

If we do not respond better than the arse whooping Bama's D put on us I highly doubt there will be much difference with the Gator D

I have faith in the Gator D, but when Florida plays lesser SEC west teams it hardly ends well. We do have both those games @ 3:30 and 7:30 so maybe that helps. It's when they start at noon that spells doom.

Well, they returned nearly every single player from the 2 deep of the defense that shut down OU's record setting offense in the title game last year. I'm sure they'll be fine.

nobody on this board will acknowledge this but Gator fans understand this.

I wonder if we see Ahmad Black more this week than we do Will Hill.

This Gator defense also shut down some far better offenses, i.e. Oklahoma.

I do think Mallet and the Hogs tall receivers potentially pose a problem for Florida's relatively shorter secondary. I believe the Gators will counter with tight coverage and extreme pressure on Mallet. There is no way Meyer let's Mallet sit back there and pick them apart. If Mallet can handle the pressure and throw accurate short passes then they should have some success. But Florida will control the ball with a steady ground-game similar to what they used vs LSU. Florida will keep Arkansas' offense off the field as much as possible. I look for a surprisingly low scoring game; Florida by a couple of TD's.

Mallet wasn't very accurate last weekend and is a statue in the pocket. I think UF's defense will shut them down much the same way Alabama's did.

Hey, he had a rushing TD last week....

In all honesty, I think we score more than we did against Bama but we still lose.

I'm not sure but if Mallet plays well Arky will score more point on UF than anyone has in two years.

Not saying BAMAs D is better than UFs but that Mallet played a terrible game against Bama.

He didn't look great against AU either. That was the first full Arkansas game I've watched so far this year, and he seemed to have some problems with throwing the ball in the dirt. He has a ridiculous amount of potential and still made some beautiful throws though.

All I know is our DB's better cover that fade better than the AU DB's did. That was just hard to watch.
