I'm not sure, but there were rumors we might use him as a TE this season.

Addazio, our OL coach/OC, named him along with 5 other guys as starters. James Wilson would play LG and Carl Johnson LT when Patchan was out, when he was in Johnson would move to LG and Patchan to LT.

Florida already had offensive line issues going into this season. This is pretty bad news considering this guy was supposedly going to be a major producer this year.
Correct me if I'm wrong; but isn't this the guy that played DL last year and got moved due to a hole in the offensive line?

HS All American OT. Played DT last year because UF was in need. Moved back to OL this year.

what OL issues. we have a lot of depth and talent on the OL. And yeah he played DL because we had little depth there and he was too athletic to keep on the bench, no he didn't get moved to fill a hole, OT is his natural position.Posted on 10/7/09 at 6:48 pm to gatorsimz

The Gators have no issues at o-line. He provided depth and some toughness. This injury will not affect the outcome of the game on Saturday.
