Finest Military on the planet Earth. Thank you for your service to our country. I owe my opportunities to yours (and my) grandfathers. My children owe their opportunites to our fathers.

My family had no prior history of military service, yet I've always been a big supporter of our military. I can now proudly say that my son is a 2nd Lieutinent in the U.S. Army currently serving in South Korea.
Thank you to all who serve. I wish all Americans could truly appreciate what our military does for us. After all, freedom isn't free.

Good posts guys, just remember there are Marines and Soldiers dying as we sit and watch football and get drunk. Deploying during football season is the worst.

As I sat in DFW drinking a bloody mary at 7:00 am on my way to SEattle for the lsu/uw game, a platoon? of soldiers walked through the airport. they got a standing ovation. My trip wasn't 2 hours old and that was the best moment of it
