And 2 of those wins were over Florida and Alabama.
Kiffin vindicated any?

5-7 team with bad losses to Florida and Alabama. Just not enough offense to play with these two defenses. I do see a upset win over Ole Miss possibly.

Maybe then, the old blue-hairs will actually get out of their seats for once and bum-rush Orgeron.
Would be the first time they stood up during a ball game

Not going to happen. 8-4 with losses to Fla, Ala, UGA, and Ole Miss.

Now that would be entertaining. The nice thing about UT is that if they have a great season and pull some upsets, it's entertaining to watch the other teams meltdown. If they have a horrible season it would be fun to watch the UT fans melt down and watch the media pile on Kiffin. The only thing that would suck would be for UT to win the games they're supposed to and lose the games they're supposed to. Otherwise it's Schadenfreude for me, which is probably 60% of my joy during college football season.

I think y'all upset Bama this year. 8-4 sounds about right.

Joy in the misfortunes of others. It's a wonderful thing.

They might want to find an offensive line before heading to BDS with what they have. Of course, Crompton may not make it out of the Florida game alive with what's blocking for him. It amazes me that Tennessee could be so thin at that position group with that being Fulmer's forte.

Tennessee and Auburn are the surprise teams this season. They have new coaching staffs but they both have good talent contrary to what other team's fans say. It will depend on if they can get the teams to gel. I would not be shocked to see one or both make some serious noise in their half of the conference as they both have assembled very good coaching staffs.

Yes, both have talent, but that's not really the problem. Its the fact that both programs have very little depth at key units. Tennessee is thin along the offensive line, as well as a lack of playmakers on offense. Great secondary for the Vols, but the front seven may be suspect. Auburn is razor thin at offensive line and linebacker, and may have to count on freshmen far too much at WR and RB. Both programs also have issues at QB, but Auburn may be a little better off there, as they at least have a backup with starting experience. I just think until the the firt month of the season passes, I'll have to view both as floating around .500.

Yes they both have a major depth issue. That said if both of their starting offensive line units don't take massive injuries it won't matter. Last season no offensive line starter for Bama missed major playing time. If that happens with either UT or AU they could make some noise. I don't expect either to win it all but if things gel I can easily see them knocking off one of the top teams that is punch drunk.
UGA is the shock team IMO. They had massive amounts of injuries to their lines last season I expect them to stomp most every team except UF next season.

Vindicated any?
Not if I were a Vol. That's too much like Nutt.
