winning back to back basketball titles >>>>>> winning baseball titles 9 years apart. hell, a basketball title is more significant even if everything was equal.

2 of 3 in football is pretty damn impressive also. and they are the prohibitive favorites for next season, which would give them 3 of 4. that would be an unprecedented run in college sports history

Good call.

Dude, LSU has a fine program. It's not a diss me saying Florida is a little bit better right now. LSU is a hell of a lot better than Ole Miss. I just want LSU fans to recognize that and be ok with it.

Yeah, but how could they be the all-time torch bearer of the SEC?

We're the most consistent, and that's a fact, brah

Fine... it's a tie, and YOU'RE gonna have to accept that

I disagree, but I'll play nice and accept. You gave a little ground, why not I?

I'll be in Oxford this fall. I'm hoping my cousin is gonna get me the hook-up with the Tuohys... sounds to me like they run shite over there.

UF's run is freaking unprecedented...they are the only school ever to win a football NC and basketball NC in the same year...

that being said LSU's athletic department is in the top 3 in the nation right now for men's sports...

I'll be there too. With a gatorade cooler full of Makers Mark, dressed as a shark. So if you want hella whiskey, find the shark tank tent.

Oh wait, you're serious? This is why I didn't want LSU winning tonight. Win a NC in baseball and LSU is now the end all of sports programs.

When the opportunity is there, LSU wins national championships.

When the opportunity is there, Ole Miss falls flat on their face.

Why would anyone willingly be an Ole Miss fan is something I'll never understand. Miss State, I can even understand. Not that, though.

Hope you're ready for your beating in Oxford in November. FWIW, as much "success" as Ole Miss has had in Tiger Stadium, Ole Miss has been absolutely skullraped by LSU in Oxford since, well, forever.

But of course, no Ole Miss fan(again, head scratcher) would ever acknowledge that...

Admittedly, OM has had issues with LSU in oxford.....but to say "well, forever" is pure ignorance.

....Considering LSU refused to play in oxford for several decades. Not saying LSU was the only one's because Bummer also refused to play in Oxford for whatever reason. Many Ole Miss home games against LSU and Bama were actually played in Jackson up until the mid-60's.

Not saying that this really means much at all either.....but it punches gapping holes in your sarcasm.

So you can't see why someone wouldn't become a fan of a team purely based on them previously winning championships?

...You do know that is the definition of a bandwagon fan.
