Question for AU fans.

What happened to your receiving corp.? I seem to remember ya'll getting a great kid from Huntsville a few years back, and a couple of other "can't miss" prospects. Did everyone just not pan out?

I ask the same question frequently. From '04-'05 we had Aromashadu, Obomadu, and Taylor, all playing in the League now, then it just fell off from there. I'm not ready to right off Hawthorne yet. He hasn't exactly played in the most functional offenses in his tenure. Hopefully Benton and Blake can contribute this year.

IMO lack of continuity in the passing game and offensive philosophy with a side of poor WR coaching.
An SEC QB and a real OC would help.

Worst Wide Receiver coach of any major program in the country. When TT came in and started doing things to coach the press and other staffers were amazed at the difference. Hawthorne is still a good WR but Knox messed him up badly.
