The reason Houston Nutt started taking players to Sonic for Ice Cream is because his brother, Danny the 'tard, actually has a business on the side selling drive-through menus/ordering systems that can be used by the hearing impaired.
Danny was well known at the NW Arkansas Sonics as they were his customers. One thing led to another and the rest is history.

That, plus making over 200k per year coaching, presumably with killer state-funded health insurance, and those asswipes still put out coffee cans, UNICEF-style, outside of War Memorial to help Danny with his "medical bills".
