for all three major sports coaches.

I think the clear top 2 are LSU with Miles, Johnson, and Mainieri and Florida with Meyer, Donovan, and O'Sullivan.

Next tier: Arkansas with Petrino, Pelfrey, and Van Horn, then Alabama with Saban and Wells, although Grant is unproven in the SEC.

I think Meyer > Miles and Donovan > Johnson so far. Remember Johnson is fairly unproven in the SEC. Let's see how he does with a mediocre team this year then I'll reconsider.

UF is really #1 on this list.

You're probably right - Meyer with the edge over Miles gives it to UF.

I would put UF #1 on this list as well.

You saw that this past year.

I am very glad UF hired Sully, he really complements the other coaches on campus. He is a young guy and really fits the Foley mold. I believe Meyer is the only recent coach that has been hired that was over 40 (and he was only 41).

I think UF and LSU are clearly the top two, but UF is #1 with 4 national titles between Meyer and Donovan.

He's referring to Johnson. This past year had a very veteran team with some pretty good players and a possible #1 draft pick. If you think that was mediocre, hold onto your seat for this year. God help us if Taz leaves.

Experience doesn't equal talent, we were very medicore talent wise. MT being a late first round pick at the best, proves my point. Yes, this year may not be pretty bad.

Anytime I hear the word mold I think of this.

Florida should probably be 1,2, and 3.

Meyer and Donovan alone would put them ahead of about everyone in the nation.

Les Miles I'll give you (begrudgingly) but all Johnson has done is win the SEC in a year that Florida wasn't good, the SEC West was as bad as it has been in 20 years, and only 5 SEC teams made the tournament. He's got a long ways to go.

I don't think you can corretly rank Alabama with a new coach at the helm. The duo of Wells and Saban would put them pretty high though.

Johnson has won coach of the year in 3 conferences. He has taken multiple teams dancing and coached multiple draft picks. It isn't like LSU hired a no name coach to replace Brady.

Vandy was better in Baseball and football this year than them, so I'll stand by that. Kiffin has been a complete disaster so far, so that certainly doesn't put them above 11. Kentucky is iffy though.

Yea no joke, who puts Auburn so high on that list? Their 5-19 football coach? Their one year baseball coach who finished 10th in the SEC? Jeff Lebo? South Carolina has a pretty good trio though with Spurrier, Tanner, and Horn.

I would rank them myself, but I don't really know many of the baseball coaches. I also didn't know we had very many basketball coaches worth a shite in the SEC.

It is almost a ranking based off of football IMO.

IDK much of the other situations, but I would have to assume UF and LSU are solidly the top 2.
