Regarding football...
college jerseys can look goofy on older guys. For whatever reason, the Ohio State faithful didn't look bad, I guess because they ALL wore the jersey.
NFL...less creepy, especially if you are at the game. NFL fans are pretty hardcore about the gear they wear.
NBA...I got alot of these. Once again, older guys look kinda bad in ANY basketball jersey.
BASEBALL IS THE MOST ACCEPTABLE JERSEY TO WEAR IF YOU ARE OLDER. They are more form fitting. They button down like a shirt. And polos at a baseball game is so college-ish.

I say just wear what you want. Whether it be a polo, jersey, or jorts.

1. hot girls can pull off whatever jersey
2. kids can also though even kids walmart jerseys kinda look trashy
3. if you are an adult and wearing a jersey it should be the real ones from nike or whatever and only on game days.
When i was little i had a jersey but now its a polo for every game

if your a male over 14 you shouldn't ware a jersey. Grown men in NFL jerseys is kinda lame too but not like with College football.

If you're a grown man and you wear a jersey, you look like one of the following:
a) A fat, pregnant, ugly woman.
b) A pussy wearing his dad's shirt.

Fun debate
Yes Ohio State fans do it to the extreme. It is our thing as some one pointed out, and I love it. I would much rather be comfortable at a game where I'm screaming my lungs out than be in an uncomfortable button down. I don't mind people who do, but I personally love wearing my OSU jersey.

this thread sucks. Honestly, who gives a shite what other people wear to a game? I wear a jersey to the games, and if you dont like it then get that stick out of your arse.

It's much more acceptable to wear a jersey to a game than to be some fig who gets all dressed up and tucks his shirt in.

Every Ohio State fan wears a jersey to the game. It must be a tradition there.

Kids, Parents/relatives of kids playing for the team, hot girls, teenagers. I will give a pass to a college age male wearing one, but it should be frowned upon. Once past the age of 22, NO male should wear a jersey, unless he fathers a child that plays NCAA football. If you do insist on wearing a jersey and looking like a douche, please have the common courtesy to buy an actual jersey, not a walmart knockoff with stripes and swoops and shite.

If you're a grown man, the only perfectly acceptable way to dress at a football game:
1) T-shirt
2) Baseball cap
3) Nutters
4) Shoes bought at PayLess
5) Shades optional

I don't really see the problem with it. I will say if your gonna wear one, make it something pretty close to the real thing. I used to always where a jersey, but at 40 I feel more comfortable in a polo or nice T-shirt. But a couple times a year I will breakout a old Russell made real game jersey that I bought years ago for good luck. through the years the Tigers have a pretty damn good record when I wear it.
The big thing for me, if your gonna wear one. Wear the thing right, don't dress like a slob. tuck it in where a belt and other than the jersey dress neatly.
overall what really looks worse?
someone dressed neatly wearing a game jersey or like a UGA fan wearing red slacks, dress shirt with a tie and a ball cap. This look is cool for some frat guys, but for 30-40 year olds?

A man wearing a jersey deserves the ridicule he will receive.

Letting your jeans hang down low enough so that we can see your underwear

Truck balls

I buy a new game T-Shirt or Polo to begin every season. I think wearing a game jersey looks odd on a grown man.
