Interesting article about NIL and speculation that in the near future we'll see schools with $100 million NIL budget.

At the rate things are going, I could see this becoming a reality in the next few years. Insane.

We didn't win a championship with this guy and we also had Bryce Young, etc..
I know Saban thinks this but that winter he hired BOB and Doug Marrone to join Pete Golding... absolutely killed his legendary career

Will Anderson was a starter on the 2020 team that won a title.

You know what Saban thinks now? “You know” Saban knows now by hiring those coaches killed his legacy.
I know this… you forgot to take your meds today. That’s the only excuse I can think of for you making a delusional statement like that.

auburn is bringing back Malzahn for any advice he has to offer.....I doubt Deboer would ever seek recommendations from Saban, and Saban is still on the payroll.

A little context here regarding those last hires. That was at the end of CNS’s career and everyone knew he wasn’t gonna be around much longer. Love him or hate him, CNS was a 24K hard arse to work for and he wasn’t every coach’s cup of tea. So, it’s not terribly surprising that he was kind of scraping the bottom of the barrel with some of those hires.
