Didn’t see this posted:

Kennesaw State head coach Antoine Pettway has been named the 2026 Ben Jobe National Coach of the Year after leading the Owls to their first Conference USA tournament title and NCAA Tournament appearance. The award is presented annually to the top minority head coach in Division I men’s basketball.

Kudos … good player, good coach, good guy.

Well it does and good for Pettway to get recognition for his achievements in coaching.

Thanks.

Some people just love to s**t on something nice happening to someone nice.

Yeah it’s not exactly like they just picked someone out of the phone book to give it to, Antoine has done a super job at Kennesaw. If I’m not mistaken it’s the first time they’ve had two winning seasons in a row since they went D1.

And they looked damn good in the tournament. They were more physical in the paint than us, and could actually rebound.

He’s a good package both on the sideline and recruiting. Someone higher up on the food chain is liable to come knocking on his door pretty quickly.
