They’ll cope and deny this even though the results were objectively better under Muss

At least we didn’t get steamrolled by a big 12 team as bad.

Yeah seems like the coach doesn’t matter in the NIL era. Arkansas clearly a better program than Kentucky since NIL.

Cal has not sniffed an elite 8 since 2019.

John Calipari's last Elite Eight appearance was in 2019 as head coach of the Kentucky Wildcats. Since then, he has not advanced past the Sweet 16, with his teams suffering early tournament exits in 2022, 2023, and 2024 before departing for Arkansas, where his 2026 team lost in the Sweet 16.

We're fine as long as we keep all you Mormons away from Arkansas

Still butt hurt about Cal going to Arkansas I see. Every post you have on here is about Cal. Pathetic.

He ran himself off. Did a great job, but rubbed the wrong people the wrong way and he's ADD. He's so intense, he burns himself out somewhere and then has to move to reignite the spark. Would've loved to keep him, but he's a west coast guy. Fayetteville was tolerable for him, but no many people really prefer mountains to beaches and perfect year round weather.

Will Wade would’ve taken this team with Acuff to the title game.

Dunno about that. You see the size of those Zona guys? Literally men against boys. Nolan needs to tell Cal that the statue is nice, but what he really wants i to see us get some men and win another NC while he's still alive.

It's been about what I expected. He's got us back in the spotlight and getting national recognition. He is what he his. The hope is maybe he'll catch lightning in a bottle like 2012, but if he don't, he's only here for 5 years. j The key is finding the next man up to take it to the next level.

Muss man really tearing it up at USC.
Muss is a nuttjob and burns everyone out on him quickly.

I miss Muss, and I think at the time he was here, he was in a better spot in his career than Cal. I'll never be mad at him for being homesick for the West Coast, I just wish he'd have held out for a job that wasn't a black hole for his career. I can't help but feel like Oregon or UCLA will be open in the next year or two.
