Says this is the worst team he'll have while at Alabama. He's pretty much saying he's staying put and planning for the future at Alabama. Always figured it was a pipe dream that he would coach at North Carolina. I'm sure there's some trust issues he has with the Alabama administration after they and the former pot smoking PG threw him under the bus. This will go down as one of the biggest blunders for a school in college sports history.

I disagree, I think he hates Will Wade. This just makes everything more fun. Brings some spice back

Coaching anything but football at Alabama is the best job in America. You never have to win anything. As long as you don’t do illegal shite like the baseball coach, you’ll keep getting extensions.

Doesn't he say this every year he coaches there though? let's face it, that team has a ceiling that they're unlikely to break through unless they beef up the defensive efficiency

Oats would take the NC job if offered. Any coach would. Otherwise, no he really isn't going anywhere.

NC has much better options than Oats. They have their pick of pretty much any coach out there.

North Carolina needs to just hire an X's and O's. coach. The talent will come naturally. There are some great choices out there. Instead, they will hire one of their own and continue to flounder.

While I’m glad tGeneral is back, Nate Oats is a much better coach. That can’t be argued
