You guys going to try to field a basketball team next year or no? Just asking due to the big 0 next to the commitment category for future freshman players.

I don’t know what we will have. Nobody really does anymore. Maybe get some good guys out of the portal. Pope will probably avoid drug dealers and killers though.

I suspect we will return 5-6 from this team and add 4 more from high school, g league and transfer portal.

Kentucky’s dominating reign when we just a 10 team conference is over. However, their tradition and future commitment will still be formidable, and a strong Kentucky is good for the Conference.

We have only two seniors, Oweh and Aberdeen. Quaintance is gone for sure. The rest could stay.
I’d say Moreno, Chandler, Williams, Lowe, Noah, Dioubate, Jelavic and the two redshirts will stay.
Don’t know about Johnson or Garrison
Need a slasher and some shooters. You just never know what these guys will do. Who saw Travis Perry leaving. Somebody shoves cash at Johnson he is probably gone.

I would be happy with that. Johnson and garrison can go.
Get stokes, the g league guy and 2 transfers and that would be a very good team.

It's a struggle at Kentucky until we revamp the Athletic Dept/New AD and hopefully get a competent coach to bring back the luster.
