I don't really get the uproar. At the end of the day, the social media teams are cheerleaders.

Were any of yall at every 2012 home game in Jordan Hare? Imagine if the cheerleaders and tigerpaws called it quits.

Yes. Only left early once, and it was the A&M game.

It was so cold, but I stayed for the whole game. Just because it was such a shite show.

Yeah, I went to four home games that season.

Yeah, but there is a line between being a cheerleader and excessive social media hyping. Cheerleaders have a well-defined role on gamedays and at official events. Social media teams (not just AU) are pressing too hard at every opportunity. I'm still embarrassed about all the football natties we won/claimed last year; that's stooping to bammer levels.

As for 2012, I was there for every snap of every game. Stayed to the final whistle against A&M (the night JFF hung 60+ on us) and the Iron Bowl.

I dont mind the supporting the NCAA bid tweets.

That account was doing its job.

It's not there to look super aware or tip toe around Auburn's reputation.

It is there to push push push Auburn's interest which of course means it's a propaganda machine. And our beat writers are in bed with it.
