Was that the guy who left Ole Miss to go play for Tennessee and not make it to Omaha?

Another banner for the Vols. Hang it between the one that says "1998" and the other that says "Zero Final Fours"

You'd best be focusing on a competitor to the Big Arch

Tennessee dropout Serraneaux cooked six batches of fries yesterday and only burned two. He is batting .666.

Not a good number.

So, a guy who played for three schools in three years is somehow a "Volunteer for Life"??? The Vols rented him for one season. He doesn't even remember playing there.
By the way, why is he playing for Italy?

And then lost to Stony Brook as a team. Should have come in at some other point if he wanted to not lose to Stony Brook.

Vol fans pumped about Team Italy while Baseball America has this to say about Tennessee baseball—

“We have concerns about Tennessee, and nothing from last weekend did much to quiet them. The Volunteers went 4-1 on the week, which on paper looks solid. But the way those games unfolded raised some flags. Tennessee narrowly escaped Wright State in the first two games of its weekend series before being shut out 6-0 on Sunday. Over the last three weekend series, Tennessee has averaged just 3.6 runs per game. Under former coach Tony Vitello, Tennessee teams typically featured middle-of-the-order power and enough lineup cohesion to absorb a slump or two. This year’s group hasn’t shown that same thump, and when the bats go quiet, the entire lineup tends to stall.”

And Fischer should have gone to a different school if he wanted to play in Omaha
