Makes the angles he takes seem even worse.

I thought he'd be a lot faster than that honestly. He was a legit 100m track guy in high school

Right, he had a PB of 10.25 in HS, but then he tore his ACL and it took him like 2 years to get back to full strength. Even after he came back, it didn't seem like he played with 4.4 speed, but to be fair, his tackling and the angles he took to ball carriers were the biggest issues.

He played so well for most of the 2024 season. This season was shocking.

The angles and never establishing outside leverage on quick plays to his side was inexplicable. Hell it might not have been his fault idk. But man did it look like it.

Sat him for a long time and he came right back in doing the SAME thing in big moments

That's what CNS used to say.

"If you are fast but you dont know what you are doing, you just end up out of position faster."

It's true about a lot more than just football.

Hard to really blame him, he wasn't the only guy taking bad angles and out of position early in the season.

Everyone across the board including him improved as the season went along. Even played significantly more after the short benching
