Interesting article about the NCAA cracking down on uniform violations

The whole thing of players running around with basically shorts on has gotten completely out of hand. To me, the real question is will the NCAA really crack down on this and the crop top jersey thing? They had said they were going to crack down on that a few years ago but nothing came of it.

We'll see.

frick the NCAA… with the shitshow that is the portal and NIL this is what they want to focus on? frickem…this is stupid, it’s ugly but if you want to look like an idiot be my guest.
Yet, totally fine with sponsors on jerseys and field? Come on.

Some local judge in College Station, TX is going to rule the NCAA doesn’t have the authority to prevent the Texas A&M players and cheerleaders from wearing only banana hammocks and pierced nipples.

It’s a player safety issue. Not only does it look stupid, but you are allowing players to play without what little protection the knee pads in football pants that fit give. I know its not much but even in high school ball I wanted something covering my knee so it wasn’t my bare knee hitting the ground. Can you imagine players doing that on astroturf? Their knees would look like hamburger meat by the end of the game.
