It seems pretty cut and dry.. the man is out of eligibility thus he must declare for the draft. But he knows he’s not good enough for NFL so basically suing the NCAA to stay in college? And Ole Miss thinks this is okay because Lane left them?

Very bizarre situation

Nothing at ole Miss makes sense. What happens when you have a 97% acceptance rate with students who vote a land shark as their mascot.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?

He had a sore throat.

He should do the same next year, and the year after. He maxed out this year. Numbers next year won’t touch what he did this year

Yeah, I'm laughing because I'm an LSU fan, but Ole Miss has gone completely insane because Kiffin left during the season.

It's now ok for the head coach to call guys not in the portal, enrolled, and sitting in a class elsewhere. And it's ok to sue for an injunction blocking an NCAA ruling on their QB's eligibility.
I'm half expecting them to send drones to other teams' spring practices at this rate . The NCAA will say they can't, and they will keep ignoring the rules. And at some point it will become too much and they'll get nailed, and they will scream and cry that they're being persecuted.

The Vol fans are the worst TBH. They cried the loudest about SBIV being too old. Yet he went pro when his time was up. Vols on the other hand doing what they do best...suing the NCAA. Honestly it's the only place their football program can seem to win LOL

I'm not crying

I'm laughing at Ole Miss. They seem hell-bent on FORCING the NCAA to slap them. They keep pushing for it. I know the NCAA is basically toothless, but sooner or later it's going to come back on them.

If it doesn't come from NCAA retribution, the bigger schools will simply adjust and do the same, and Ole Miss won't be able to keep up. Like, Alabama will start buying their recruits midseason, and Georgia will ignore a targeting suspension by filing suit to block it.

what’s real delicious is knowing that LSU walked in and stole Ole Miss’s fricking coach and there wasn’t a damn thing that school could do about it except sit back and cry like the little bitches they are.

Did any of you read what Chambliss was appealing? It was not changing juco or d2 rules. Basically was told his 2nd year was a medical redshirt due to multiple issues, heart palpitations in late spring of 22, probably from the shot and Severe tonsillitis and ancilitis (something with upper toncils, didn't know it was a thing). Medicated in August of 22, was getting better through December of 22 and 23. It helped and he played well in 24 then had surgery for same issue. Tons of medical records, doctor, trainer and coach statements. The NCAA case was only 2 doctor visits and he is getting better and he was redshirted to develop, competition and possibly medical issues (the ncaa didn’t include the last part)
