If Texas doesn't beat us by 40 it's a moral win for the Gamecocks

We are at the midpoint-ish in the conference season and half the teams will not play a midweek game. The conference tournament is in Nashville and begins March 11th. All teams will play, the top 8 seeds get byes, and the top 4 get double byes.

It's going to be in Nashville for the foreseeable future.

March 8-12, 2028 Nashville, TN (Bridgestone Arena)
March 7-11, 2029 Nashville, TN (Bridgestone Arena)
March 13-17, 2030 Nashville, TN (Bridgestone Arena)
*March 12-16, 2031 Nashville, TN (Bridgestone Arena)
*March 10-14, 2032 Nashville, TN (Bridgestone Arena)

*March 8-12, 2034 Nashville, TN (Bridgestone Arena)

Paris has used up all of his moral victories. How he has not been fired at this point I will never know. I will also never understand letting a coach finish out a season, of course, I am even assuming he gets fired at the end.

Paris had one good season in his 4 years at SC and he lost in the 1st round of the tourney that year.

2022–23 South Carolina 11–21
2023–24 South Carolina 26–8
2024–25 South Carolina 12–20
2025–26 South Carolina 11–11
South Carolina total: 60–60

He is 21-42 in conference play. Carolina can do better.

I think FL is the best team in the SEC. We just need to get our starting guards to play consistent. Teams dont want to be in our bracket in March Madness.

Thus far, A&M has the best body of work.

How is that? They have one real good win all season. I will give them they have no bad SEC loss like us but their resume is just beating mid teams mostly with a few bad losses.

I'd say the difference is they beat Auburn on the road and we lost to Auburn at home, and their only loss is to Tennessee in double OT in Knoxville. We have two losses, and they have only 1. Our competition we have played is similar. Avg in the SEC standings for teams UF has played is 9.7 and 11.6 for A&M. So slight advantage for the Gators there, but not significant imo.

Both teams have to play some quality competition this month, so it should be a fun challenge. Don't count out Ark, Ky, VU, TN and possibly others either.

I know A&M got their doors blown off by Oklahoma State who is pretty mediocre, but that was early in the season. They also lost the Central Florida at home but they’re about to be ranked and very likely going to make the field.

Yeah, I am giving them a few early games grace with it being a first year coach, and really my argument is SEC games only since it is an SEC Power ranking. UF has had the harder schedule, but we also have a lot more losses if you look at the entire record.

There’s no real huge ticket wins in the SEC so far besides Vanderbilt or Florida (going by rankings).

There’s no Houston/Michigan/Iowa State/Purdue/Duke/Arizona types. Everyone is too inconsistent.

Yep, lots of tier 2's, no real tier 1's.

I hope Texas wins by 60+. Then, and maybe then, Paris might not actually make it back on the plane. Leave his arse stranded. He's already laughing his way to the bank, let him buy his own way home.
