Who married his own sister, had eight children with her, is revered as the Father of Louisiana, was the superintendent of a major college, and went on to murder perhaps hundreds of thousands of unarmed civilians because he had learned to hate the people in Louisiana so badly and turned against real Southerners as a consequence?

I think he's referring to William T. Sherman, although I've never heard him referred to as the "Father of Louisiana."
