Nate Oats ain't got no problem bringing in NBA players or playing kids who are facing gun charges, but heaven forbid the #1 rebounding team on the conference says something. Thin skinned bitch

The obvious question is, why isn't he doing it if it works so well?

I can feel it down in my plums. Getting a nice, bluish hue. Getting ready to take them down to the farmer's market.

Pretty genius coaching to be honest. Say it to the conference leaders or officials prior to the game and no one cares. Say it to the media to stir up a firestorm, and the announcers, viewing public, conference leadership, and the refs will all be looking to see if it’s true or not.

Unless the officials just decide to flip Oats the bird and take a beating from the announcers and public (because they absolutely will be looking for times to point it out and bring up what Oats said), this may actually help 3 seconds in the lane be enforced on Sunday.

I cannot wait to see A&M vs Alabama. Bucky considers Oats an influence on his career.

The 25% more rest and prep will be a big factor for A&M, especially since Bama will be coming off a Sunday road game against a very physical FL team. I expect that to fully offset home court and probably allow A&M to get a win. We lost to a bad Ole Miss team at home 2 years ago in a somewhat similar scheduling situation.

That said, our style of play actually helps us playing against A&M. We love to run fast and we’ve been taking care of the ball for most of the season (when we have all our guards healthy at least…which we may not after the FL game).
