Ended up with just under 2" sleet and I'd say a little more than a 1/4" on the trees. Never lost power til this morning, was back online in 2 hours.

Lost power for 10 hours but if the wind blows hard in Ridgeway we lose power.

Every map shows us getting 2-4" snow this Saturday.

Edit the euro map is showing 10" to 12". They are obviously high as hell

Love Ridgeway, we have hunting property out that way. Blythewood though is blowing up big time.

As for me, I was fine. I moved out to Vegas a year ago. My home in West Columbia apparently got a little snow though. Probably just falling, and not sticking

You're in Vegas? That's only 6 hours from me...

What i have learned about being in Vegas is...."woah thats really close to me"

Now calling for 5" to 8"for the midlands. Looking at all the different maps I'm going with the higher end total

Got a CAT front loader to clear the driveway last week. Salt trucks just hit the city road today, but no clearing and still pretty much solid ice for an inch or 2 below the snow. Zero to sub Zero this week, with "heatwave" in the 30's by the end of the week but good shot more ice and sleet hits befor then.

This is why you want an old school heavy metal Merican sedan

#1 Heater works off the motor so that V8 or V6 makes the interior cabin like a furnace in about 5 mins

#2 No tin door sound like Asian or German autos, solid thud of HEAVY MEATAL so once you get on the snow and ice, better traction than modern 4 wheel SUV's

If you are lucky to have an old wagon like this, better gas milage than a tank, but just as durable.

Really enjoyed the riverwalk late afternoon Saturday when the snowfall was at its peak/heaviest.
