It appears the entirety of the public education budget was forked over to land this class. I’m sure the children’s hospital wasn’t spared either. What happens if LSU wins 8 games?

I expect LSU to go 8-4, anything more would be great.

Levitt to complete a 3rd and 17 pass to one of our transfer WRs to clinch the W on the Horns. 9-3 is my guess. We will probably lose in a stupid way as well to someone. Losses to Ole Miss, Vols, UK.

The board will be overrun with the "I told you so" crowd.

But, if LSU is wildly successful, the board won't be readable then either because we will make it a disaster.

We're fricked either way.

You think the SEC hasn't taken notice and is not bothered?

Lane at LSU is a big problem.

Nut riding other teams that beat the better SEC teams is the best bet.

Doesn’t make sense. You have one year rentals at QB and OL, so don’t do this, and claim spending $10M on them was for year 2, when the QB is gone, and the OL is projected to be drafted Round 1. Then what was the point of spending that $10M.

Hedging by saying the expectations are 7-8 wins when you just spent that much is you guys backtracking after talking smack to Ole Miss.

I mean the majority of what you've said is based on your own assumptions so that's probably why it doesn't make sense.

Both Seaton and Leavitt have 2 years of eligibility remaining and no one really knows what they actually cost.

What he said is true. While they both have more eligibility, they’re both projected to leave next year (Seaton especially). Leavitt could pull a Moore and stick around for 1 more year (which might be logical if he struggles after missing spring ball due to injury), but that might end up being very expensive for LSU. Rumors are Moore is getting upwards of 8mil at Oregon.

To be honest it seems like 8 wins would be a failure considering just the amount they have invested in QB and LT for 1 year. I personally have them at 9-3.
