How are some of these teams showing 30+ recruits (transfers and recruits) when they aren’t losing that many players. For example, Texas A&M is showing a class of 39. They have 13 incoming transfers. Then they have 26 high school commits. But so far they only have 11 transferring out. How? Are they losing that many to graduation? Or are some players about to get processed? And TAM doesn’t have nearly the largest class; USC is at 40, FSU is at 40, Minnesota is at 45, UNC is at 49, West Virginia is at 63. Most schools have at least 30.

Just trying to figure out how to reconcile the balance sheet.

May have something to do with the 105 player limit although I could be wrong.

Not sure if I understand your question exactly, but the rosters expanding to 105 scholarships could have something to do with it.

19 out of eligibility
3 to early draft
14 outgoing transfers
Total out = 36

Recruiting classes this year seem so much bigger than in past years. In the past a 30 recruit class was unusually large. Now that is on the small side. It must be a combination of the insane volume of the portal and the increase in roster size.

It just looks unusual compared to historic numbers; 28 of the overall top 50 classes on 24/7 have 30 or more players, 7 of them have 40 or more players - that was essentially half of a roster in the past.
