If Pavia can play for 18 seasons and Baylor (?) can have a basketball player that actually played in the NBA... then he dang well should get the waiver...

Each time I think about this question I go back to what Chambliss said prior to the Sugar Bowl when asked if he was leaving. He said something like....I'll have to look at all my options and determine what's best.

And then a few days later he's bleeding OM and talking about how much the school did for him as he announces he's staying.

Just weird.

BTW, he should be appreciative of OM.

I think he’s realizing that after we are going to bat for him vs NCAA and that’s the last organization we want to frick with after the fiasco 8 years ago.

They seem to be toothless these days compared to the period you referenced.

BTW, I love how the talking heads who are "all for the athlete", suddenly are having a hard time with giving these kids one more year.

I wouldn't bet on it. Even if he gets a waiver you have to worry about the NFL. If he gets a 1st round grade it will be tough to keep him. It will be tough to duplicate this year especially with losing his HC, OC and QC. Hope he tanks tomorrow night if you plan on having him next year.
