The 2025 season is wrapping up nationally and our new staff is getting ready to turn the page to 2026.

Time for a thread and better times ahead.

I eat quite a few ramen noodle dinners during College...Hey life is more fun when you learn to appreciate food. I think learning how to get by on a little helps you when you grow up.

i don't know why, but they sure are hyping Sumrall up. almost to the fact that it's suspicious. there's going to be a lot of egg on people's faces if we're sub 6 wins again this season.

Honestly, I think if he's even an average coach, we should be winning 8-10 games a season. Billy does not get enough blame for as bad as he was. He was the worst coach at UF since immediately after WWII. Not only was he a terrible on the field coach, he was terrible at managing the coaching staff and managing the roster. He refused to adapt to NIL and the portal. The worst part was that he was given everything he was asked for and more.

There was only one thing Billy accomplished in his time at UF. He lowered fans expectations to levels I have never seen before in my entire life.

It's not that mysterious imo, they've nearly lost the fan base with 4 years of Napier garbage which punctuated what has been 15 years of mediocrity.

And then whiffing on Kiffin adds another layer of disappointment for the fans, they know they need to sell the fans on this guy because apathy has already creeped in, if not already taken over. I know that at this moment I'm not planning on renewing season tickets and know quite a few season ticket holding boosters, some who have their tickets for nearly 5 decades, feel the same.

they're trying way too hard for me to like this guy and he hasn't even coached a down in BHGS yet.

I am not going to make any declarative statements because even the great Nick Saban sometimes needed a season to right the ship. He was 7-4 his first season at LSU, and 6-6 his first season at Bama.

But I am definitely hoping for better than that.

The more they push the issue, the more I question whether I should like him. The non-stop Urban Meyer endorsements is getting really annoying. I'd probably like him more if they didn't keep making such an issue of it.

Yep iñ the era of NIL there isnt much of àn excuse to not get things going by at least year 2. If the QB is decent maybe even 8-4 in year one.
