If Byrne gives him a contract extension, I hope he (Byrne) is fired. We have seen two seasons of Bama being soft, and lacking the physicality to control the line of scrimmage (especially on offense). 2025 rushing game worst at Bama since 1946. That’s unacceptable!

Is there some information saying he is going to get one?

The offensive staff we have now is one of the most inept I have ever seen at Bama. A contract extension right now is not logical.

Can’t wait to see what new lows and records Deboer sets in 2026. There has to be some he hasn’t broken yet.

I just hope it wasn't already offered and signed after the first round game when the Michigan talk was hot.

That being said...I'm still on the DeBoer train, if he makes some staff changes...but there's no way he deserves an extension now. Make do with the $11 million a year and $50+ million still guaranteed. To add years to that at this juncture would be AD malpractice.
