It wouldn’t work if they did. He made it pretty clear he wants to stay where he’s at and he already has a better team than Alabama and much greater job security.

Can he get a roster of 24 year old transfers and a Heisman QB every year? If so, sure.

He just signed an extension with Indiana. The Alabama job is not as glamorous as Alabama fans want to believe it is.

Exactly. Tradition and size of the fanbase doesn't mean shite anymore.

$ is all that matters now. If enough millions go into any G5 program, they could win the natty within a few years.

No.

And Alabama fans couldn't handle it if they did. You would all melt like crazy if he brought in a bunch of 3 star recruits. You'd all want him fired within 3 months because most Alabama fans are dumb and have no patience.

You'd have all seen a G5 coach come in and recruit like shite. You'd get trolled by other schools and you'd melt and melt and melt over how the man destroyed Alabama football.

Look at some of you fricks now after having an 11 win season in year 2 with a new coach who has completely different schemes than Saban. The sky is falling, the sky is falling, fire the coach, fire the AD, I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!!!!

You think well he could do better because he would have more talent at Alabama, but what you are missing is the type of guys he is recruiting and what he is doing. Upper class man players who will start right away.

All the 4-5 star younger guys would get upset and transfer out because he's bringing in people to start over them, etc.

He did what he did at Indiana because they didn't have expectations and he was free to do what he wanted.

There has never been a limit on spending. These schools could have started putting money into things long time ago if they wanted, just like the blue bloods did. Facilities, staff, and so on.

And schools have done that over the years. Florida, Florida St, Miami, LSU and so on all at one point or another decided to start putting money into their programs and they got better as a result.

No, they’ll have to decide between Kiffin and Golding.

DeBoer is an elite coach. He will bring Bama back to the throne of college football. Patience you must have my young Padawan.

Don’t think he would leave nor do I think you will get rid of deboer, but you would be smart to try.
