Not exactly breaking news, but wanted to share this table after tonight.
In games with CFP implications, we've seen a YPP decline of 36.1% since Monken left the program.

Speaks volumes. Can’t wait to hear the spin from the Bobo apologists.

Bobo is the best OC we have ever had.
Damn good dawg.
Damn good dawg.

I like Bobo, and he's good, but this offense has not been elite for a while now.
Feels like the 2019 SECCG all over again.

Todd Monken’s seat is a little unstable in Baltimore. I’m just saying it’s worth a call to see how he’s doing.

Can't regress back to the CMR years.

Is this another fricking SemperFiDawg alter, or is he just coincidentally doing the exact same routine that SemperFiDawg has been doing since we lost. Or did SemperFiDawg forget to sign out and sign back in as somebody else.
The only posters around here who really gloat after we lose after we lose and talk about use the word "NegaDawgs are SemperFiDawg and his alter Dawg4Life47. It's fricking bizarre.
Two of them regsitered within one month of each other in 2013 and the other one was registered the next year.

Other than Monken, McConkey and Bowers also left the program

Two things can be true at the same time.
1) We really miss Monken.
2) The probability of hiring someone as good as Monken is really low.
...And then it's my opionion that next season is piss or get off the pot time for Bobo. He'll have a returning quarterback that he's always thought really highly of and also one of the best offensive lines in the country, assuming Freeling comes back. Or if Freeling leaves, we figure out something good at left tackle.
1) We really miss Monken.

There are reasons for statistics like the ones cited in the OP to be considered unreliable. One is small sample size. Another is confounding variables. Both are present in the "analysis" above. It's a waste of time trying to explain those things here, because they should be obvious to anyone attempting an honest comparison of Bobo and Monken.
As for next season, it remains to be seen if Gunner starts at QB. Bobo thinks highly of Gunner (as he should), but at this point he also has a better understanding of Gunner's skillset and how it affects what his offense can do. Bobo is a professional and he's gonna use whoever is best for the job.

Well.some of those years had Brock bowers, ladd, Pickens, ad Mitchell, Darnell, and 1st rounders on thr OL. Some of those years did not.
Some of those years had immediate NFL starters on defense at multiple positions, and some did not.
I'm not defending or admonishing anyone, but just plain old black and white stats don't even begin to hit on the "WHY" behind them.

I maintain that the issue is as much an intellectual diversity issue as it is a Bobo-specific problem. We have very limited coaching experience outside of the Saban and Richt coaching trees on staff. That’s an issue on defense too, imo. One of the things than made Monken such a valuable add was that he came from a different “school” of football.

Man I haven’t been called an alter in over 10 years.
Last time it was when I was adamant of getting rid of richt.
It seems like that’s this boards “go to” when wanting an underachieving coach to get let go.
But BoBo for Prez right?

The only other two posters on here who blabber about "Richt apologists" are SemperFiDawg and Dawgs4Life47. Also, the only two other posters who come here to gloat after we lose are SemperFiDawg and Dawgs4Life47. All 3 have the same whiny and smartass posting style.
All three users started their accounts within 10 months of each other back in 2013 or 2014.
...This one is a perfect mashup of SemperFiDawg and Dawgs4Life. You call someone "brother" just like SemperFiDawg, and you talk about eating crow and how you were right the whole time about everything just like Dawgs4Life. You are a fricking weirdo!

Interesting quote. Why do they need to "convince" the younger Dawg Nation; convince them to do what? Have an uprising and take control of the Georgia football program?
They should recruit from the Auburn, Tennesse, Florida, and tech message boards. A lot of those folks will get on board with the idea of taking the controls away from Kirby.
