I hope not because the first guy they come after to replace him is Marcus Freeman. Freeman has already turned down NFL jobs this week and other college jobs in recent weeks but Ive always said if he leaves Notre Dame it will be for his alma mater Ohio State and I know Ohio State fans are already talking about it.

No matter the crushing loss tonight, Ohio State is in great shape as a football team. I don't see Day being relieved of his duties any time soon.
His is now 82-13 at Ohio State. That is almost unbelievable. Also, he is legit the best African American coach to ever coach the game at this level.
His job is secure.

You do know African Americans can be white, right? African is a nationality....not a race. Elon Musk is African for example. You have to be really simple minded to think African Americans are only blacks.

African is a nationality.
But if you're born in New Hampshire (which Day was), I don't think you get called "African American" even if your grandparents were from South Africa.
It's not like white people in South Africa came from there. They were Dutch before that.
Oh, and apparently Day traces his family roots back to the Puritans. So I don't think there's any African connection.
