Sankey is an employee. He's not doing anything without a majority of the member institutions approval.
If the membership wasn't happy with him, they would fire him.
He's not unilaterally running amok.

The University Presidents are mostly school teachers and politicians. Stankey was supposed to be the razor sharp businessman looking out for the multi-billion dollar SEC.
Turns out Stankey is the dullest knife in the drawer.
Stankey deserves to be fired today, but it may take a couple more years of this BS before it happens.

Well that was out of the blue. But, an athletic salesman could sell a bunch academic administrators a refrigerator in Alaska. The only person I know that had an athletic background as school President or Chancellor is Ole Miss.
