developed s pretty good team. I was privately kind of sweating that.

Thankfully Auburn is more dysfunctional than even Alabama in the 1980s post Bryant

They actually would have been pretty good this season if they just had a decent QB.

if Freeze had just not missed so spectacularly at the QB position, they would have been salty as hell this year and potentially competed for the conference.

Freeze's legacy at Auburn will be that he botched the quarterback situation harder than any coach in college football history. If you made a list of all the portal quarterbacks that Freeze could have gone after who are currently playing at a high level in college or in the NFL, it could make Auburn fans nauseous.

Peyton Thorne and Jackson Arnold are two of the most dubious SEC quarterback of the last 25 years, and they just happened to be the two quarterbacks that Freeze thought he could roll with.

His teams couldn't win the close games and fell apart in the 4th quarter. That separates the great teams.
