Skip ahead to 49:45 to hear Sammie's explanation as to why they lost the game.
Melvin Ray needs to be investigated for his role in the defense of the fake punt...

Them talking about the Kick Six next helped. Finished watching there. Good find.

That was a painful memory.
I watched an abbreviated highlights of the 2010 Iron Bowl last night. That was very satisfying to say the least.
I still believe Bama somehow knew the plays we were running that first half.

I was there (so I'm told), but my memory of that evening has been "wiped clean as a Clinton's hard drive." Love Sammie, but have no desire to revisit.

I have not watched a single play from that game since watching it live that night in 2014. I don't plan on ever watching any of it either.

I have PTSD from the kickoff return specifically. Jonathan Jones, who probably would be in the top 10 of fastest AU players ever, tore up his hammy around the 30 yard line and was basically out of the play because of it. He would have been the one filling the lane Whitfield turned it up into. 0% chance Whitfield would have gotten to even the 40 if that doesn't happen.

Sammie talks about the kickoff return as well. Says Scott Fountain had made a point to tell the K to not kick the ball to Whitfield...and he kicks it right down the middle to him.
