Currently has a 20 game winning streak against orange teams. The last time we lost to a team that wears orange was Florida in 2020. Out of those 20 games, four of the teams were ranked in the top 5 at the time, and eight were ranked in the top 15.
Also has me thinking, what was the name of the tee shirt place that was by Guthries' and Papa Johns in the '90s? I had the Rednecks Turn Orange in the Fall shirt that was kind of like this one, the Lights of Athens shirt with all the little match boxes and the other one with the name of the business on it.

His teams are 18-0 in games when they have blocked a kick. 18 separate games blocking a kick in 10 years seems like a lot.

Kirby's teams hold the top 2 spots for the highest margins of victories in bowl games, doing it in back to back years. First, against TCU at 58 points (65-7), then the next year against FSU at 60 points (63-3).

The rednecks turn orange in the Fall was around in the early 80s for sure. I honestly forget who made it, but it was fairly popular. I’d say those 4 teams and Tech were all considered rivals. Sad we only play 2 of them now regularly.

Since 2017, Kirby Smart has won more national championships as a HC than losses to unranked teams. Read that again…
