I never see them crying about injuries when they lose. Heck I don't think I've ever seen one bring up Colt McCoy.

Some could probably learn from this. Or not

Eh....I haven't saw too many Bama fans whining about injuries this time. So, I raise my glass to them for taking defeat like a man. It probably has something to do with the fact that UGA had as many injuries and starters playing injured in that game, but I haven't saw too many of them leaning on that like some did back with the whole Metchie and Williams thing.

Honestly I see other teams fans mention it more. Maybe I'm wrong, however just since I jumped on a few minutes ago I have se n Bammers blame injuries for:

The 2019 LSU Loss
The 2021 NCG loss
The 2025 SECCG loss
a hypothetical matchup between 2019 LSU and 2020 Bama
Some game back in the 90s that cost them a title.

You guys need help

You talking about Cart?

Go pull up Mac's diatribe after the NC loss to Bama where he declared if Cart hadn't bruised his vagina, it wouldn't have even been close.

He's mad at me.

Because I did mention it. As not all injuries are equal in terms of what a player means to the team. And players not being 100% is also a factor as Alabama played an extremely tough November schedule while Georgia did not.

Of course it was more in terms of how Alabama's will do overall and the programs state for the playoffs, but that doesn't matter.

Wasn't here back then but I'll take your word. Didn't see much of that this year though

Congrats on your win, it was well deserved.

But if you want to start telling me the Alabama program is shite over the loss like your fellow fans, then I'll be happy to add some context.

Don't forget to mention you can't do better than a .500 record against Alabama in your best years.

Best year we went 15-0. Did Bama ever pull that off?

One things for sure, both teams were pretty banged up. If both teams can get some players healthy during the layoff, we might end up having a 3rd "rubber match" this season for the natty!

A year you didn't have to play Alabama no doubt.

We went 13-0 playing nothing but FBS teams consisting of the best 11 opponents the SEC had to offer and 2 playoff teams.

But yeah, I'm sure those games against FCS Samford and Kent St would have surely brought us down.

Well Yeah...you didn't earn the right to play us. We did beat all the teams that beat you though soo, yeah.

Were the Vols and LSU FCS teams that year?

I'm hoping what little bit of time we get to rest allows us to get healthy again. We really could have used the bye - not to mention you're going to get Ole Miss which is nice.

But yeah, I don't think the performance we saw out of Alabama this past weekend is what a healthy Alabama looks like. As far as Georgia, good win for you guys, injuries are part of the game.

I'd love to see a rematch, it would be in the NCG. That would mean we got health and got our shite together again.
