Sorry no fans nor media believe that UGA would have won that game had Williams alone not been hurt. We can tell it still hurts your feelings. Sorry about that, bud.

Shouldn't this be something related to the last couple of times Bama beat UGA?

I understand how they all tend to blend together after a while, but come on.

In a year where we had multiple ranked wins, finished first in the SEC for the regular season, beat a top five team, and made the playoffs?

That's a bit dramatic.

I don't have a dog in the fight but I can say from a neutral perspective, Bama wins that game if they don't get hurt. Injuries are part of the game so it don't mean $hit. Just like McCoy getting hurt.

Oh I forgot ..the beliefs of fans and media are paramount even in the face of on field results. That's why Notre Dame got in over Miami this year. Wait ...

Talk about some deflection, several years later and y’all are still melting and making excuses.

Whats gonna be funny is if we beat OU and pay them back, then get by Indiana and somehow get another shot at UGA , and break their little black hearts again.

If Simpson was injured before the game and the result of the game was exactly the same, do you think that you would make the same argument as missing Metchie and Williams? After all, when they played the first time, Simpson played out of his mind and lit up Georgia, especially on 3rd downs.

But he did play uninjured again and the result was very different the second time than the first. Perhaps the result would have been different with Williams and/or Metchie being healthy.
