While the SEC teams are all lumped together to beat up on each other, eliminate each other, or at the very least…wear each other out before facing a Big Ten team.

Indiana played 2 legit teams all season (Oregon, Ohio St.) and now they get to kick back while OU-Bama have to slug it out for a second time.

The committee gave the Big Ten a huge break on purpose. If they had Miami at #9 and Georgia at #2, the Big Ten teams would have had to have actually earned it.

Worse is their OOC.

OSU played Texas at home. Otherwise, name the best B10 win for OSU, Oregon or IU -

Okla State?

Blame the DEI bids. We should have notre dame going to play at Ole miss and then Vanderbilt going to Eugene to play Oregon instead of the tulane and james madison games we have now. Its impossible to come up with a fair bracket when you have to shoehorn in garbage teams that don't belong.

The SEC got five teams in, more than any other conference. Hard to avoid a first round all-SEC rematch under those circumstances.

That is the exact reason they jumped Oregon over ole miss saying their win over USC was the reason and yet failed to realize ole miss beat a top ten Oklahoma. So now what you get is no big10 teams have to play until the semi finals Oregon gets absolutely the worst team in the playoff and then gets the easiest top 4 team. This is absolute bullshite

Ohio State beats Texas, which then throttles Oklahoma.

It will shake out, that's what playing in the sec gives you, a leg up over teams with weak schedules.

Isn't this what SEC fans said last year? How did that turn out?

Does it? Because three of the four teams that got a bye are not SEC.

Ha ha, I wouldn't base judgement on the ranking, just the final result.
