A couple million ish.
If they fell to another bowl, they’d still generate several million from it. And that would be the offset for the $4M/team that are in the playoffs.

Every time there is a chance some corporate board can advantage Bama they do. From scheduling, to calls on the field under review to inclusion in playoffs. It's one of the many reason I hate the tide. 
Next year, they will have no argument. We're going to destroy them as will several other SEC teams. Bama's time has run out

Yes it's a lot about money. Look at the TV revenue of SEC vs all other conferences.
