Have you considered how much fun you’ll have watching this team get its arse beat again?

Thumbs up. That's the best pro bama argument I've seen to date.

Way less fun than I’ll have listening to you whine about not getting in.

This team struggled on the road against SC and Auburn since Ty lost his confidence.
Watching them against a top seven team on the road at this stage? Nope, don’t want that.

I don’t think the SEC wants leave them out.
Problem is it’s down to Miami, Notre Dame, and Alabama.
The last data point was a non-competitive loss for Bama; 10 straight wins for Notre Dame, and Miami with the weight of a win over Notre Dame and ACC support.
The SECCG may evolve into a bubble bowl between 4 and 5 seeds.
I do not know the contractual details between SEC and the stadium so it may take time to unwind the current format.

We can watch the bowl game for that.

It’s not about you. It’s about ND. They have to let Miami in to justify ND being in.
In the end Bama is out for the same reason Aggies were out in 2020.
Because ND is a fricking problem and we should stop playing them until they join a conference.

I think Bama should be in the playoffs.
Objectively if the 7-5 ACC Champion, Duke, is in you can justify many teams in the playoffs.
Bama has the the best win, of any contenders over #3 ranked Georgia in Sanford Stadium.
But the loss to FSU looks bad in retrospect since FSU imploded.
Also, Bama played a much tougher SEC schedule compared to ND, BYU and Miami.

Look big picture.
If they make it in, Deboer can say later if he gets fired he got in playoffs and got fired for being one of the best 12 teams.
If they don't make it in, its more fuel for Bama admin to say he failed to get in playoffs so we parted ways.
Behind the scene Deboer is barely clinging to some important support.

I don’t know. If you get matched up with A&M and your QB has two functioning legs all you’ll have to do is run QB draw on repeat and you’ll be the shite out of us.
