After all these years in Utah, there’s reasons that BYU and Utah are able to keep winning

Coaches like Sitake at BYU and Whittingham at Utah. Despite several other higher profile jobs. Would have been interesting to see how those guys would be with top talent

I would prefer living in Utah, over any SEC state.

Welp, BYU has players that take 1 or 2 years off and come back. Used to have 24 and 25 year old guys playing.
Talking grown arse men. One of the reasons they are generally pretty good.

Do they go on charity missions or something?

Yep. I prefer the lobster guac at the Stein Erikson Lodge!

Also why BYU is , year in & year out, the dirtiest team in CFB.

Yeah, Mormons take a mission year after high school before they start college.

it's two years, plus a redshirt year.
And they both have a lot of Samoans/Tongans. Those guys arent soft.

Actually some take 2 years before enrolling. From an article last year,..
2 years of missions at 18, 19, or 20 years old means a “freshman” is much more physically developed in year 1 of their college football career.
Like I said, some grown arse men.

The Top 5 returning missionaries who should excite BYU football fans in 2025 Reinforcements are coming on the defensive line by way of three returned missionaries.
This week Kalani Sitake and his staff signed 18 football commits for the class of 2025. It includes some home runs, including offensive tackle Austin Pay (89 rating at 247 Sports), running back Lamason Waller (88), linebacker Tyler Payne (88), and edge Ulavai Fetuli (88), among others. And with BYU being BYU, eight of the 18 signees will serve missions before enrolling in Provo. While this can be an additional variable to consider in roster building, it’s encouraging to see that Sitake & Co. continue to sign some of the top LDS recruits in the nation. While we won’t see some of the class of 2025 until the 2027 season, it also means we get to look back at some of the top talents who signed two years ago, served missions, and will now join the team in 2025. Here’s a quick breakdown of some of the top 2023 recruits who will don the royal blue next year.

It's pretty, but it's too dry. I like northwest Arkansas and eastern Tennessee.

West Tennessee, around Pickwick, is nice.

Yeah, Tennessee is just a nice state all around except for the cities, imo. But some of the nicest country to be found anywhere is along the North Carolina border area.

It is a beautiful state unless you’re in the Dixie part, as they call it out there. Southwest Utah is a desert wasteland. Except for St. George, which is a quick drive to Las Vegas
