Saban is right, he knows Ole Miss’ AD was in the wrong.

LSU fan coming in to defend Bama’s former head coach.

Odd world we live in.

He is right - Lane would’ve been terrible to keep. Zero focus on the playoff, total focus on Baton Rouge.

He also got called out for previously advocating on Vegas spreads and didn't know what to say

Say what you want about Saban, he is the only thing making Gameday watchable with idiot McAfee around.

But he also referenced that 2015 staff that had Kirby taking the UGA job & bringing multiple other staff members with him, noting that it didn’t have to be a problem.

I think the bigger issue that the talking heads haven’t spent near enough time talking about is that he was leaving a head coaching job and taking a job in the same position at a rival school.

That’s a completely different dynamic than a coordinator leaving to take a head coaching gig. Neither program should have been okay with that, despite what sports media has been saying.

Saban is mostly to blame for the state of college football.

He’s ruined it.

I keep trying to tell people LSU fans like Nick Saban. Maybe one day you’ll get it.

Saban also has been very careful to not talk about some of the other reasons Lane was asked to leave (late for meetings, hungover, partying with boosters late into the night before games). Saban could've really fricked him letting people know all that went on and didn't.

In 2016 there was no NIL, early signing or portal to deal with. Ole Miss is correct.

I agree with you.

Lane couldn’t handle being OC at Alabama while transitioning to FAU head coach with a national title 60 minutes away. Yet some are determined to say he should’ve been allowed to stay with Ole Miss having a month of games ahead of them.

There’s enough evidence to conclude Kiffin couldn’t have pulled it off.

It’s an honest observation. Saban is open to criticism if he’s going to contradict himself and say things that don’t add up.

Listening to Saban, it's clear he doesn't like Lane. He's being as diplomatic as possible.

lol keep melting bitch because Lane Kiffin is no longer at Ole Miss. He’s sitting there at LSU getting ready to frick Ole Miss up on the field and in recruiting

Gonna be fun watching the ex-girlfriend come back into that little stadium next year.
