Who is your side team?

Mine is Georgia Southern. Grew up watching the Erk Russell national championship games. TV broadcast would show Eagle Creek like it was a beautiful mountain stream and not a drainage ditch. The cheese busses they rode in on. There will never be another Erk.

I’ve graduated from four colleges/universities with football teams. I often have multiple screens going on a football Saturday just from the places I attended.

I’ve always had a thing for Texas Tech oddly enough. Red and black and I always appreciated Mike Leach.

I cheer for Oklahoma nearly as hard as I cheer for Georgia. A good friend is an Oklahoma graduate, and they beat Bama the last 2 years.

I literally only give a shite about Georgia football. I don’t even watch other sports. I grew up on the Braves but after chipper retired it was hard to stay interested. When they botched the Freddie deal I was done.

That's a bit overstated. KSU didn't have a team when I went there in the late 90s, but I'm glad to see them have success. Last night's C-USA championship game was the first time I've watched them play and even then it was only the 4Q.
They don't swim in the same pond as the Dawgs, so there's no competition. That said, I don't own so much as a KSU t-shirt.

Valdosta State and Ga Southern simply because of their location in the State and history of winning. But I don’t/can’t get up for anyone in Division 1 power conferences other than my Dawgs.
