Alabama fans support your Women's basketball team

I hold collegiate athletes in genuinely high regard.
But women’s basketball offers a rarefied level of spectator torture.
If a more miserable sports viewing experience exists, I have yet to experience it.

The only thing more embarrassing to me than how much we pay Mulkey is that we’ve stormed the field after beating Ole Miss multiple times in the last decade

Alabama supports plenty of women's sports at an elite level - specifically gymnastics and softball.

Nobody cares about women's basketball and never will. Feel bad for the girls, especially now that they've built a solid and consistent program, but it is what it is. There are only so many sports to go around for interest.

The fact that LSU supports their WBB program more than their men’s is…well, interesting.

You are correct that storming the field against Ole Miss is some of the most little brother rivalry behavior we’ve ever seen. Something that AU, A&M, or Tenn would do. UGA and Bama would walk out of the stadium relieved and somewhat angry if we won a close game against AU or GT at home. Clearly you guys aren’t a premier program if you’re storming the field against the Rebel-Black Bear-Sharks.
