The fact LSU fans celebrate shite like this is really an indication of how far that program has dropped in general.
"We raided a lesser school because our program and the things we've been doing for years now is total shite - isn't it awesome".

Lane wanted him to stay at Ole Miss and AT wanted to go to LSU. Now that Lane made the same decision he fired him.

Show me where Alabama fans taunted Washington fans or even had a reason to after the fact. And hell, that guy actually has a playoff win and wins over 80% of his games against ranked teams.
There was 0 celebration of stealing things from Washington, we were just happy with the hire.
Nor was our program a dumpster fire that had us firing our previous coach mid season rather than having the GOAT retire.

The sheer number of threads that LSU has started about Ole Miss just in the past few days... well... you'd think they were little brother or something. It just reeks of desperation. They are eat up with Ole Miss.

it almost was after the first game this year and after losing to vandy last year. you should tread lightly bc all it takes is a few losses early in the season and yall will want to run him out of town.

Not even remotely analogous.
Ole Miss is our biggest historical rival.
If Lane Kiffin had been coaching the Vols the last 6 years and had them lined up for the CFP and then bolted for Bama, y'all would be behaving exactly the same way as LSU is towards Ole Miss.
DeBoer is a solid hire and we'll see how it plays out. His margin of safety is no less thin than Kelly's was at LSU. He's got to have success in the CFP in the next few years or he'll be out on his arse too.
