All but confirms our recruiting class won’t finish in the top 30.

Auburn’s boosters are a bunch of con men. This is a major NCAA sanctions level of recruiting class. Golesh will struggle in 2027-2028 when they are sophomores and juniors.

This NIL money will be used on transfers and current roster, as it should be.

This isn’t shocking.

Kinda seems like Auburn is having trouble competing now that everyone can buy players.

Wow, so all of that, "Just wait until August 1st!" talk was nonsense!?

That’s the mentality of a poverty program that isn’t serious about winning that has 5 straight losing seasons.

We’re ranked #60. That’s fat out inexcusable in any circumstance.

Ehh it’s more John Cohen being in charge and likely pissing off big boosters like he did at state. Once Auburn fires him and if they hire a good AD that can get their boosters aligned they’ll turn it around

Every school in this conference has paid players for decades

We only seem capable of buying one or two highly ranked recruiting classes every few years. Just enough to keep the fanbase engaged and not give up hope.

That way they can sell tickets and keep the cash flow con job going without actually doing what it takes to be a competitive football program.

Meh. We'll pick him up in the '27 portal class.

Right now, we have to burn NIL on the young roster that we have and key pieces in the portal. Been done befo', see OM, except their roster of HS recruits already on campus wasn't as good.

Just payback for Cam Newton passing on Miss St because the money was "too much" at Auburn.

You can try and bandaid this colossal failure of a recruiting class with the portal but it’s only going to be a bandaid that leaks at the end of the day.

Guys John Cohen said NIL is a fad and it's not worth investing into. Thanks Auburn again!

This would make sense if we didn’t just sign two straight top 10 recruiting classes with him as our AD, could this possibly be because of the fact we just hired a brand new head coach 3 days ago?

This recruiting class was dogshite in August when Freeze wasn’t on the hot seat.

Please explain how Florida and LSU are still in the top 16 of the rankings.
